One of Perth Zoo's resident Red Panda's. Such a test of patience to get a good shot, their trees are so dense that it takes ISO of 3200-6400 to get a clear shot... thank god for a 5D2

This is an EXTREMELY clean shot for such a high ISO on the 5Dmk2. I similarly have high-iso noise issues on when using my 300mm, though this shot looks so clean. Do you use any sort of noise removal reduction in Lightroom for Photoshop? I'm always afraid to pump my ISO past 1250 on my 5D2.

Hey Electro! Yeah I would have run Noise Ninja over the image in Photoshop. As long as you expose well enough, Noise Ninja is a great little add-on so you don't lose fur detail
